We kick off our Island tour with the Kingdom of Tonga, which lies directly South of the more well known island of Samoa. Getting its nickname from the Kings that reigned over its shores for over 1000 years, Tonga is full of wildlife and beautiful beaches that stretch over its magical terrain. If you’re lucky enough to visit this island country, make sure to check out the hundreds of Mapu’a ‘a Vaea blowholes that explode from the sea.



Don’t let its size fool you because as the smallest of the Arab countries, oil is not all that Bahrain is rich in! With an outrageous mix of modern amenities and ancient architecture, this tiny country sure likes to flaunt its wealth and power. Take in the world famous Formula One Bahrain Grand Prix race, or go diving for pearls to witness Bahrain’s most exotic industry.



What can you expect from the country of Kiribati? Stretching across the 33 different islands you’ll find aqua lagoons, delicious seafood, and a warm welcome from the local population.¬†Above all though, you’ll be blown away by the abundance of natural life as Kiribati is home to the largest protected marine area in the Pacific Ocean.

Sao Tome & Principe

Just off the coast of West Africa in the Gulf of Guinea, lies the tropical islands of Sao Tome & Principe. Since you’ve probably never heard of this unique island country, you’ll be fascinated by its volcanic rock and coral formations that dominate its islands. On the larger island of Sao Tome, the massive volcano Cao Grande is tough to miss as it towers over the jungle magnificently. The Portuguese language and dazzling catholic architecture, brings a unique twist to this African island.


While the island of Palau is a tropical paradise, the real magic takes place below the surface in the warm waters of the Philippine Sea. From deep blue sink holes to World War II wreaks and gigantic clams, the life below the water leaves much to be discovered. Really up for an adventure? Head inland to Jellyfish Lake where you can swim with thousands of the stingless sea creatures before they disappear!

Marshall Islands

Ever wonder where the name bikini came from? Inspiration for this popular swimsuit actually derived from the Marshall Islands! Bikini Atoll was in fact the name of the first testing site for the atomic bomb, and led to the name for two piece bikini! Although it boasts the worlds largest shark sanctuary, some of the Marshall Islands are unfortunately uninhabitable because of all the nuclear testing.


Just off the coast of Madagascar, lays this stretch of 115 islands that make up the glorious country of Seychelles. So what are the best things to do in this hidden oasis? Go for a hike through the Morne Seychellois National Park, and visit Aldabra Atoll which is home to 150,000 giant tortoises! Most of the magical islands of Seychelles still remain untouched today, and with the long beaches and crystal clear water, its easy to spend your day relaxing and soaking in the warm Indian Ocean.


Head to the island country of Dominica if your looking for a Caribbean escape, but want to avoid the hoards of tourists. As one of the poorest countries in the Caribbean, Dominica is often overlooked compared to it’s luxurious neighbors. ¬†This tropical gem is made up of dense lush jungles, towering mountain rages, and endless streaming waterfalls that are sure to enhance your island experience.
