We’ve now been to Cambodia several times and fell in love with the temples, street food, and beautiful islands. Our first Cambodia trip was back in 2016 as part of a year-long backpacking trip. Read more about our story and how we started our travel blog here!
During this adventure, we explored the capital city of Phnom Penh, went to the crab market in Kep, and hit the stunning islands off the coast. Who knew Cambodia had such incredible beaches??
On our most recent Cambodia travel, we visited the famous Angkor Wat temples. Most travelers make a 2 to 3 week itinerary to see both the islands and historic sites. You should also know that Cambodia is one of the cheapest countries in Asia, which is why it’s such a popular option for budget travelers.
Check out all our Cambodia travel guides for tips, and to hear all about our own experiences. Also, be sure to taste as much local Cambodian food as possible!
