Growing up in New England, we’ve made so many trips to New York City and the surrounding areas. Lake George was a popular summer trip for Jake, and Brigitte lived right on the Massachusetts NY border.
As full-time travelers now, we still take many flights home through NYC to see family and friends. From there, we either spend a few days in New York City or rent a car to explore around the state.
On our last New York trip we walked the High Line in Manhattan, rode the Staten Island Ferry, and had a picnic on Little Island. We even took an adventure to Brooklyn’s Dumbo neighborhood and strolled over the famous Brooklyn Bridge!
Check out all our New York guides for tips from our own travels. It won’t be long until we’re back, so stay tuned!
