We have always enjoyed this form of travel, even back before we started our website. It’s such a great way to see multiple destinations, countries, or even islands in the same trip!
Our very first experience was many years ago with family in the Caribbean. Since then, we’ve been slowly getting back into the cruise life!
While much of our recent traveling has been done in Europe, one our favorite memories was in Halong Bay. Floating through the magical limestone cliffs in Northern Vietnam just didn’t feel real!
If you’ve been following us for awhile then you know we love the Greek Islands. We’ve documented how often we use the ferry system to get around, but taking a cruise in Greece was a whole different ballgame.
Our Celestyal Cruise took us through some of the most famous Greek Islands like Santorini, Mykonos, and Rhodes. We also visited some of the lesser known islets like Patmos, and made a stop at the Ephesus ruins in Turkey.
Sea cruises are so much fun, but our new passion just might be on the river! In the summer of 2023, we took a trip with Riverside Luxury Cruises down the Danube.
Our boat went from Budapest to Vienna, passing all the small European villages along the way. This was definitely a cruise vacation we’ll never forget. We’re already planning our next adventure, so stay tuned for more cruise tips!
