Planning your USA travel and not sure where to start? Then you’ve come to the right place! This is where you can find the best United States travel tips, helpful guides, and all about our own experiences.
Hailing from Massachusetts and Vermont, we’ve spent our fair share of time exploring New England. We also spent three years living in beautiful Southern California before heading off to travel full-time.
We may be a little bit biased, but we think New England is one of the most beautiful regions to discover in your USA travel. From the green mountains of Vermont to the Berkshires in Massachusetts, and the beaches of Maine, there’s so many great outdoor adventures to be had.
No trip to the United States would be complete without seeing New York City. Here you’ll find endless cuisine from around the world, fun walking routes, and views of the incredible architecture.
Be sure to check out South Carolina if you’re going down south. We recently spent some time in the coastal town of Murrells Inlet and had a blast!
Money: The US Dollar is used throughout the United States.
Language: English is the official language of the country.
Seasons: The United States is huge, and the weather can vary dramatically depending on the time of year and where you go. We love being in New England at all times of year, but especially in the fall to see the leaves change.
Some of our favorite destinations are the national parks dotted throughout the country. San Diego has great weather year-round, and you can visit popular skiing destinations throughout the country in the winter.
What to Eat & Drink: Just like the seasons, the cuisine around the USA is very unique across the different states. Be sure to try all the comfort meals and specialties of the particular places you’re visiting, and stay away from the popular fast food joints.
