I guess we should tell you right up front… We are addicted to airport lounges! As full-time travelers having access to airport lounges around the world has been a game changer for our travel days. We heard all about the new Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club, but don’t fly out of Boston Logan Airport often. So when by chance our international travels were taking us from Boston to London, we made sure to show up at the airport as early as possible! We were beyond excited to experience all that the Chase Sapphire Lounge in Boston had to offer. Here’s everything you need to know for your first visit.
How Do We Get Airport Lounge Access?
We’ve always used Chase Sapphire Reserve as our main credit card while traveling abroad. It is known as one of the best travel credit cards and we certainly are happy with it. If you didn’t know, there are some amazing perks that come with being a Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholder.
For some, the hefty annual fee may be hard to swallow. However, as full-time travelers this card easily pays for itself ten times over. A few quick things we absolutely love are the $300 annual travel credit, Priority Pass membership, cash back, and awesome deals using our accumulated points.
We won’t even get into the fact that one year we switched all our points for cash back when there was a special promotion! We actually got thousands of dollars refunded from doing this. Whenever we cough up the massive annual fee now we think to ourselves how the card is technically making us money and the travel perks that come along with it.
Priority Pass Through Chase Sapphire
One of the best bonuses that comes with a Chase Sapphire credit card is Priority Pass. Taking an unreal amount of flights throughout the calendar year has us in and out of airports constantly. As you can see from our endless flight reviews, we’re no strangers to flying from place to place throughout the world.
The first thing we do when heading to the airport is check if we have a lounge, how many clubs we have, and decide where we’re gonna spend our time before take off.
If you didn’t already know, a Chase Sapphire membership gives you unlimited access to over 1,400 Priority Pass lounges throughout different international airports!
Sometimes we’re eating burgers at an airport restaurant while other days were sipping champagne in anti-gravity massage chairs. Pretty cool, right??
It’s definitely spoiled us a bit as in the off-chance our airport doesn’t have a club location it is slightly devastating. Obviously, we say that in joking way. Yet, having Priority Pass is such a more relaxing and fun way to travel. You can even swipe in additional guests without them being Sapphire Reserve cardholders.
I can’t even imagine if the day comes where we started flying business or first class! We would be even more addicted to traveling than we already are.

The New Chase Sapphire Lounges
So what are these new Chase Sapphire Lounges by The Club? Well, there are currently only two in the world as they are completely fresh to the airport lounge game. One is inside Hong Kong International Airport and the other is located at Boston Logan International Airport.
Boston is the first Chase Sapphire Lounge in the USA, but know they are quickly expanding. The company has announced that soon they will be opening lounges in the United States starting with New York, Las Vegas, San Diego, and Philadelphia International airport.
This is a completely new lounge experience where you don’t need to be flying first class (or even business) to get into an amazing airport club. If the lounges become as popular are they are expected to be we’re sure additional locations will be announced soon!
Getting to Chase Sapphire Lounge Boston
We arrived at the Boston airport after an epic three-week road trip throughout New England where we explored many charming small towns and visited family. Our flight out ended up being one of the first Norse Atlantic Airways flights from Boston to London.
We really like flying with Norse and wrote all about our experience in their premium economy last year. However, for this trip, we couldn’t pass up on an amazing deal for just $100 from Boston to London. After adding baggage it came out to be around $150 each which is still an unbelievable deal.
The only problem we would come across is that Norse is out of Terminal E. The new Chase Sapphire Lounge in Boston is out of terminal B. We had looked online, but couldn’t tell if the terminals were connected once you passed security.
Each airport is different in how they are set up and which terminals are actually connected together. It wasn’t even until we made it through security that we realized that we could make it to the Chase Sapphire Lounge.
Luckily, it was only around a 15-minute walk each way and we had arrived almost 4 hours before our flight. Up next we’ll tell you all about our experience visiting the Chase Sapphire Lounge Boston. Just remember to leave yourself more than enough time to make it back to your gate!
Arriving at Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club
The Chase Sapphire Lounge Boston is actually hidden from the main level and you need to take an elevator to access it. Unfortunately, this is right where saw a sign saying that Chase lounge was already at capacity! This is something we rarely ever come across using the Priority Pass network outside of London.
The airport clubs in capital city of England are so popular you often have to put yourself on a waiting list, or a book time in advance. Being one of the first Chase Sapphire Lounges, it was obviously in high demand. We decided to head up anyway and hopefully get our name on the waiting list.
However, when we got to the desk to check in we were pleasantly surprised. Even though the club was full, since we were Chase Sapphire Reserve card members we could get in without waiting. We were obviously ecstatic about this as we could tell right way this wasn’t your average airport lounge.
Truly, the only way to describe the Chase Sapphire Lounge is like walking into an elite restaurant or swanky bar. Everything from the decor to the service is top-end, and it’s all really at your fingertips.
If it wasn’t for everyone with their suitcases and the monitors with flight times, you might actually forget that you were at an airport! There’s even an epic view over the terminal where the planes are taking off and landing.
Exploring the Chase Sapphire Lounge Boston
Before getting our first (of many) plates and drinks we took a walk around to look at the different areas. Since they were basically at capacity it was pretty busy, but we were still able to find a few tables. There are plenty of open areas as well as some cozy nooks and comfy chairs to relax. We chose to sit at the tables to the left of the beautiful main bar.
While perusing around the Boston airport lounge we saw all the amazing food at the buffet section out on display. We’ll talk more about the food and drinks next. Just know everything looked absolutely delicious and we got one of everything to try.
The one thing that we didn’t think about booking in advance was the the additional services. The Chase Sapphire Lounge in Boston offers things like X the wellness room, and X to further enhance your experience.
Food & Drinks at the Chase Sapphire Lounge
One thing that the Chase Sapphire Lounge Boston excels at is the cuisine and specialty drinks. You’ll have to take our word for it as we sampled as much as humanly possible in a two hour window.
As we mentioned before, there’s a large buffet area where the food is being prepared. Here small plates are served in a tapas-style display. This is also where you’ll find all the yummy desserts to try after your meal.
We started with a bunch of these little plates to share while we ordered larger courses to our table. Once you sit down you’ll notice that each spot has a QR code with a number attached to it. From here, you can order meals directly to your table on your phone. This definitely created a super relaxed environment without everyone having to go up and crowd the bar.
From the menu we tried the burger, noodle soup, and chicken wing. The meals are created by expert chef Douglass Williams which is amazing considering you’re eating at a Boston airport lounge. Honestly, we wanted to taste even more, but at one point we got so full we didn’t have a single bite left in us.
The Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club also has amazing cocktails and great wine selection. They even have an entire tap room dedicated to local beers.
Knowing that we had a seven hour international flight we were about to board, we didn’t sample as many of the drinks as we did with the food. We started by ordering glasses of Prosecco and tried some beer from the tap room. Jake did get one specialty cocktail before heading out that he really enjoyed.
Is the Chase Sapphire Lounge Boston Worth Visiting?
Yes! There are only a small handful of clubs around the world that we enjoyed visiting as much as the Chase Sapphire Lounge Boston. As frequent fliers, it’s so worth it have the Chase card to enhance your travel experiences. It’s wild to think about wanting to get to the airport early for your flight, but we totally would do it again.
The food was delicious and there were tons of options. The drinks were flowing (almost too well) and it felt like we were in an upscale restaurant instead of waiting for an international flight. Trust us when we say this was the ultimate airport lounge experience!
The Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club is completely worth visiting if you’re flying out of Boston. The only thing you have to make sure of is that you don’t lose track of time and miss your flight! Because honestly, we could easily see that happening Chase’s lounges in the future!
