10 Best Things to do in Tiverton Rhode Island

1. Morning Coffee at Coastal Roasters

Ready to kickstart your day in Tiverton RI? Coastal Roasters was our go-to coffee spot in town. The interior gives off cute cafe vibes, while the outside has colorful chairs set up on the water.

Pick from an array of coffee, espresso, and bakery items. Then grab your treats and enjoy everything on the Adirondack chairs looking over the water.

Don’t know what to order? On a hot day, a dirty iced chai latte with cinnamon was our favorite.

4. Weetamoo Woods & Pardon Gray Preserve

One thing you may not know about Tiverton is that it’s made up of some very dense forest. In fact, over 650 acres make up the Weetamoo Woods with over 7 miles of walking trails to explore. There’s even an additional 2 miles of trails in the Pardon Gray Preserve next door.

Weeatamoo was named after the famous Native American woman who led the Pocasset tribe in the 17th century. Stroll through the endless rows of oak and holly trees, and keep your eye out for rare birds. This makes for a great late summer or fall activity when you can truly see the colors pop.

We enjoyed local calamari on a nice spring day here and it was so delicious! However, as one of the best things to do in Tiverton, Evelyn’s will be especially busy in the summer. So if you’re not ordering takeout make sure to show up early.
