1. If you’re looking to get out on the water in Murrells Inlet, the Marshwalk is the place to do it! From Kayaks and Paddleboards to boat rentals and sunset cruises, every type of water activity is available.

2. Many of the restaurants and bars offer drinks to-go. So if you don’t want to sit you can grab one for a stroll along Murrells Inlet Marshwalk.

3. There are larger parking lots across from the main road as well as at each restaurant. Make sure to be careful when crossing the busy street. 

4. Visit during sunset if possible! The views are always beautiful, but to experience the Marshwalk during sunset is the best.

5. Look out for the goats! In the summer months, goats will be grazing on a small island out in the marsh.

I am the winner of the 2021 Best of the Beach Award-Best Guided Tour! I discuss stories of the local history and legends of the South Strand. My stories go back to the 1500s. We have a very long and interesting history in Murrells Inlet.
